That doesn't even look like part of the leaf spring to me......maybe something a PO added to stiffen up the ride? |

Its a helper leaf. The rear was probably sagging. |

in the top pic, do I see a hole where it bent? That hole is probably supposed to be in the pack on the centering pin. Looks like an old cobbled together fix. |

You guys are right, I don't know why I didn't see that they were overload springs of some sort. These were on one I was looking at but have since decided to pass on. Thanks for responding and educating me Brett |
