Thats what i did on my 79. Put the extensions on and fully welded them up. Next I bought some 2x3 1/4" angle iron and boxed them in. Haven't had any issues yet. I slammed down on them hard on spring creek and didnt have an issue. The only draw back is tire clearance and they weigh 75lbs a piece. They are fully boxed and welded. These pics are before the "C's" were boxed and welded.

Crawler creations also built his own and wristed one for even more travel.

Definitely sleeve them if you are going to use the stone crusher extensions. Also, if you are still running stock bronco axle width you will run the tires into the arms hard if they are not bent. I rub my arms at full lock and I bent my custom arms quite a bit for clearance. If you just go longer they will get closer to the tires and will very likely limit your turning ability. Nice looking arms ZOSO! I asusme you don't have tire clearance issues due to being full width?

Another question to ask yourself....how many things do you want to bring to Moab untested? A lot it is probably fine as it has been done before by a lot of people BUT I always have a couple shake down runs before I decide to tow my Bronco far away. It would suck to rush through a project so you are done in time to make it only to have something screw up when you get there and ruin the whole trip.

Mine rub like crazy when trying to turn tight. But it doesnt bother me much as it still turns really good. Next on the list is cut off the stock bushings on the back and put on a ballistic joint. Mine bind on the droop side cause the rear bushings.
