So I had a little driveline vibration on the Super Duty when I was driving it home from Denver. Haven't had much chance to look at it and the truck has been parked. Decided to pull the driveshaft after a quick inspection. I'm thinking this u-joint might have been bad. |

Yeah. After pull the driveshaft, I'm gonna probably replace all the u-joints. Good prevention. Plus both caps on the next joint just fell off with no effort. Don't think I saw any grease in them. |

eh, 25k at best. Have to save the rest for the Bronco. Big thing that gave it away...the half a post seen the the bottom was not only not seated in the bearing cap, it was kicked over almost a full inch. Some heavy throttle and I'd probably have sheared it right off. |

id go with u joints that are non grease-able they're much stronger on a diesel they have alot of torque . i have been through a couple and they seem to last longer and i have mine chipped so i like to mash the pedal and watch the smoke. |

Hell, I bet you could just use a helicoil to stick all the parts together. |
