3 Gun
I know we have plenty of gun nuts on the board. I'm wondering if we have anyone in to 3 Gun shooting/competetions. Been toying with the idea for some time and it seems like a fun shooting forum.

Re: 3 Gun
You'll have to enlighten me. I've never heard of it, but I have an idea of what it might be!

Re: 3 Gun
3 gun competitions and events utilize carbines, shotguns, and pistols in a myriad of tactical/practical shooting scenarios. Think Call of Duty/military/Law Enforcement. The scenarios are different for each club/organization that sponsors them but as an example...
You might start off at a station where you engage several targets with your carbine then transition over to pistol. Move on to another station that utilizes shotgun and pistol. Only pistol stations. Etc. Emphasis is placed on proper kit (magazines, speed feeders, etc. easily accessible), proficiency with loading/shooting, and timing. Most events and stages are timed and failure to complete a stage in the allocated time is failure (180 seconds for some stages).

Re: 3 Gun
I'll take you up on that sometime soon. If anything, I'd like to tag along at a competition to see exactly how everything works.
