Ferd Recall
Seeing as we have a few PSD owners, I thought you guys might like to know there is a recall scheduled to start around 15 August.

Re: Ferd Recall
Yet another Multi function switch replacement program. I wonder if they will EVER figure that out.

Re: Ferd Recall
Well, when you consider the amount of plastics being used in manufacturing nowadays, it's surprising there aren't more failure issues like this. Then again, I suppose we've been having plastics failure issues for decades now. I think I've had to put in at least 3 turn signal cams in Broncos over the years.

Re: Ferd Recall
I have replaced multifunction switches in Fords for over 20 years. When I would get a Ford in for anything related through the column that was electrical, 99% of the time it was the Multi-function switch. It hasnt changed besides some design updates (which you would think are for durability) and it seems they never seem to get it right. Thankfully the Column housings are easier to disassemble today than they used to be. That is until ford penny counters decide the techs are replacing too many of them so they change the way its assembled.
