Best way to get house paint off of car paint? Can I just hit it with a buffer and polishing compound or is there something else I should use to loosen it up first? |

What kind of house paint? A lot of interior paints are water based and will wash off with water and soap. Read the labels on the can the paint came out of and see what it says about clean up. |

I guess I was assuming it was worse than it really was. My girlfriend brushed the side of the garage door pulling in yesterday and it rubbed a big white streak down the side of the car. Was able to get most of it off with the pressure washer and buffed the rest out. Thanks! |
