Ordered up a 3 core Champion Radiator. I've seen a few posts on CB that say you need the 4 core mounting brackets. Anyone know for sure if this is the case?

I put a three row Champion in mine early this summer. The stock brackets won't fit. I cut them and added I think about a half inch to extend them. The rubber insulators will stretch enough reach both edges. Or you could just buy the larger mounts. Also you need to check the clearance of the fan shroud to the fan after the install if you have a stock set up. Mine got modified real quick on the right side when first started up.
