I am no longer an expert on Mustang Values, the price varies so much these days depending on the condition and originality and how rare the car is. To give you a relative comparison. Monty's Mustang had a Beautiful 67 Convertible with Black top. Original restoration ( A concourse restoration) with Deluxe interior, 289 ci with 4 speed trans. It was perfect in all aspects as a car that came off of a show room floor. It took first place in its first ever show at the rocky mountain mustang roundup. I wanted to buy it, he wanted me to buy it. Asking price was 40k. That was his asking price which would just cost his expenses for the build and I am betting he would have still lost at that price. My Heart was broken when it was stolen from the shop.
I saw that car from start to finish, it was featured in one of the popular magazines for mustangs. We were talking about it one day as it was a stripped down shell sitting on a forklift and I thought it was going to the scrapper.
He also had a 65 Convert in Silver with black top. Same condition, same price.
Now for the Beautiful Car in these pictures, it is hard to determine an actual value as it is not an original car with the high performance parts and that is not a bad thing, just hard to do a price comparison. I say the best way to figure it is to find other cars in similar condition that are for sale on places like RacingJunk, or craigslist or edmonds or autotrader or similar.
