Post Whats She worth?
I am posting this for the widow of a family friend.

I watched this car get to where it is today over the years and trust me you wont find better craftsmanship under the hood or bump and paint.

Details;

Great car and Judy is a sweet old lady =) It sure puts a smile on your face to see her driving a 400+ hp Stang!
1968 Convertable Mustang
347 Street Fighter
10.1:1 compression
Holly 750 Pro Series Carb
Camshell Hyd Roller Performance Cam
MSD Ignition
Detroit Locker 370.1 Rear axle
Trick Flow Heads
4 Wheel Disks
Shelby Traction bars and sub connections

oh....and she's got N02 ;)

Cherry ride and Judy has the history all in a book including a portfolio of photos of the entire build

Sooooo whats she worth and can we help her sell it? Its currently here in Sandusky Michigan.

I REALLY miss my old 68 GT Fastback, but I guess she is looking to make some money, which is why I own a Bronco now. I'm guessing it's an auto since it is a convertable, or is it a 4 speed?

Post Re: Whats She worth?
I am no longer an expert on Mustang Values, the price varies so much these days depending on the condition and originality and how rare the car is. To give you a relative comparison. Monty's Mustang had a Beautiful 67 Convertible with Black top. Original restoration ( A concourse restoration) with Deluxe interior, 289 ci with 4 speed trans. It was perfect in all aspects as a car that came off of a show room floor. It took first place in its first ever show at the rocky mountain mustang roundup. I wanted to buy it, he wanted me to buy it. Asking price was 40k. That was his asking price which would just cost his expenses for the build and I am betting he would have still lost at that price. My Heart was broken when it was stolen from the shop.

I saw that car from start to finish, it was featured in one of the popular magazines for mustangs. We were talking about it one day as it was a stripped down shell sitting on a forklift and I thought it was going to the scrapper.

He also had a 65 Convert in Silver with black top. Same condition, same price.

Now for the Beautiful Car in these pictures, it is hard to determine an actual value as it is not an original car with the high performance parts and that is not a bad thing, just hard to do a price comparison. I say the best way to figure it is to find other cars in similar condition that are for sale on places like RacingJunk, or craigslist or edmonds or autotrader or similar.

Its an automatic...

I think she is shopping for about 30k. That being said I know for a fact the late Don had over 50k into it.

I am not a big Mustang guy. However, if Chevy never created the Camaro, that would be a dream car. I would think that a well documented build sheet, great pictures, and restoration information, and placed on eBay or AutoTrader Classic would easily get what she is looking for. It is resale red and a convertible.

Not to be that guy but I doubt you'll even get close to 30k for that car. Not in this market. I would say maybe a strong 12-15k today but not much more. The only way that car would pull 30k is if it was a bone stock surviver that was rare. But an auto vert is not one of them.
