So I'm practicing on 1.5 tube and I've got good blue discolor on the outside and a blue ring on the inside tube. Is that hot enough? Also I've heard to drop your wire size to .024-.025 to slow down and get more heat.. thoughts ? |

I'm welding cage material so wouldn't the penetration look different since its not a butt joint |
