800hp is never pointless. V6 Explorers with 9 1/2 horsepower are. |

Jeep is killing it right now - the Grand Cherokee and Wranglers are great vehicles. 800 HP is very impressive and the body kit and wheels look great - would have got stuck backing out of my driveway this morning, tho. |

I've been seeing rumors that Jeep is considering releasing a pickup with the refresh of the Wrangler in 2015 or 2016. Given the increase in sales of vehicles like the Raptor, the Power Wagon and the continuing good sales of the Wrangler I'm suprised that none of the other manufacturers are planning a smallish 4wd with some level of off road capability, even if its just a small volume halo vehicle like Subaru's WRX STi and Mitsubishi's Evo. |

The truck has been on display a few years ago at the mopar Big block party in golden. Its been in the works for a while now. I am kind of hoping Ford brings the Ranger back in a midsized pickup along with the Retro Bronco with various trim packages from a base model to a HP version in both forms. |
