I run a stock 2bbl Motorcraft, very few folks leave these on, most run 600'ish cfm 4bbl carbs with off road kits installed or go straight for the kill and install EFI. |

My MC runs really well off road, great nose up and leaned over, the only problems I've experienced so far have been in extreme nose down (plus 50 degrees) positions with hard stops, it stalls/floods. I could probably improve this by setting the float a little lower since it sits on the front of the carb. kchaser - I will probably have a spare MC2100 carb after I get my son's build started when I return from my deployment in the Spring, let me know if you are interested in trying it out. |
