Been busy in my garage lately - but no EB work - yet!!!

I have been buried working my a friends 67 stang. He found it out of AZ. Not one single speck of rust on this car. He bought it for his son to build and drive when he turns 16. The car was a driver already - just needed tuned some and My friend wants to make it as safe as possible before he turns his kid loose. The car is a 67 coupe with a 302 (carbed) and C4 auto. So far our list of changes/improvements is pretty nice. Remember - she drove pretty good from the start.

Power rack and pinion steering
slotted disk brakes
New Idit tilt steering column
Mustang valve covers
Plug wires
heavy duty sway bar and springs in front
Heavy duty sway bar in the rear
sub frame connectors
replaced the fuel tank, electric fuel pump, new fuel lines and filters
replaced the battery tray and hold down
new stainless radiator overflow bottle fabricated a mount for it
painted all the interior panels and dash
sound / thermal carpet underlayment
new rollers for the windows
new carpet
racing seats
3point seat belts (started this but the pull and save belts he bought locked up somehow)
repaired a drooping headliner
Under coat the floor pan (want to keep it rust free)

The first three items were done in my shop with the help of Shawn (Shawnsfords) last fall. The rest I did with some help from Ron over the last 10 days.

Let me tell you, the car drove well before but with the suspension and brake mods - this thing is quick, tight and it is a blast!

So all that is left - a trip to the muffler shop because the rear sway bar rubs the duals a bit
some electrical issues, anyone want to tackle these? Serious question there. the dash lights do not work, A/C does not work, back up lights.... The mechanical stuff - I am all good with, the electrical stuff... I spent about 10 hrs and solved nothing! If nobody wants to give it a shot, he is going to have to take it into a shop.
Trip to the A/C shop - need to rotate the compressor and re-route the hoses (they look like a snake nest)
And cooling issues. This is new. I think the water pump is out or the thermostat is in backwards/frozen. I took it home to him yesterday afternoon, temp was high on the highway and almost as soon as I pulled into his driveway it overheated, I opened the hood and the 15lb cap blew off at the same time. Made quite the mess. Hope to start troubleshooting this later this week

But now that it is out of my garage, I can move mine in and I can get started on my own personal EB project.

If any of you are willing to lend a hand under the dash chasing electrical gremlins, just let me know. It pays well in beer and I imagine Ron will be willing to help support your EB habit a bit as well - it will only take a moment to pull the seats back out to make access much easier.
