My FIL has one like that, except not mounted to the tire on the truck. It was "much safer" as it's own machine. Yeah right! What happens when one of those chunks gets thrown under the tire? I guess since the truck is in reverse, it'll go smashing into the neighbors car...
Seems they are working just as hard as using a splitting maul.
