Stroppe Bronco Rims
I really like the look of the painted steel wheels on this Bronco -- are they custom? Anyone have any idea if anything similar is still available? Is there a reason NOT to use steel wheels like this?

I like the look. They might be hard to find though. I doubt anyone makes them now. I like that winch too.

I think Dnewman runs something similar in silver and looks great.

Nope. I was about to call on it and went back to check the ad. Pulled by author.

Re: Stroppe Bronco Rims
That DOES look pretty close. It almost looks like a stock wheel that was painted with the silver, or in the case of the Stockton, left white.
I'm a big fan of the old skinny stock white steel wheels under the 70s era Ford trucks.

Re: Stroppe Bronco Rims
No problem. Stockton is hard to get a quote from but they specialize in classic style wheels for restorations. Hard to find stuff.

Re: Stroppe Bronco Rims
I didn't know Stockton Wheel was back in business. I knew they were shut down a year or so ago when I was looking for slots. Glad to see them back open, they have some good stuff.

Re: Stroppe Bronco Rims
I found a pic of one of my favorite Broncos with those steel wheels - they do look good.
