Wellington has a "car show" the first Tuesday of the month. Its more of a get together for car freaks but I try to get my two broncos down there. If anyone else lives up here in the north land feel free to stop by the taco johns in wellington tomorrow 6ish.

Over 5,000 classic cars cruising Havana Street in a Poker Run. There is no charge or fee to participate in the car show or the r run--It's free! The cruisers stop at each of the five festival sites to pick up a r card to complete their r hand. The r run kicks off from each of the festival sites at 2 p.m. and ends at The Stampede festival site at 8 p.m. with the announcement of the prize winners. The guy running the car show is a long time EB owner. Actually, both the folks are...Curtis Smelker (neat bigblock bronco and many others) and Brian Graves (rock crawler in the process of bein' resurrected).

Sonnic in Aurora on Friday nights has an unofficial car show all summer long. I have seen as few as 10 and as many as 40+ cars and trucks in the lot behind the drive in. Chambers and Ilif - I think. I could drive there but I do not recall the exact streets...
