Very cool to have a Bronco as a first car. There are a couple of other member's doing the same thing with their son's. This is a great resource for help, parts, etc. What a cool way to spend time with your Dad - memories that will last forever. Plus, you are learning skills you will use everyday. Way excited you found our club. |

Yeah this site really seems like a good place to see some other local broncos that around and get alot of tips and help which is nice. And yeah we were talking about driving it to one of the meetings, when and where are they? |

There are Breakfasts the 3rd Saturday each month. There will be a Bumper Building Tech Class next month. 2011 will have a ton of trail rides, BBQ's, etc. Keep checking the site for specific events. There will be a 100th Member Celebration coming soon as well. Keep checking the site for specific events. Like I stated before, there are other teenagers in the group - not just us old guys. Now we need to find a replacement Bronco for your Dad |

So I can put all of this together, is your Dad a member? If he is, is it BFD? |

That is my son. He decided he wanted his own access. We got a ton done today, plus Jonah did his first bit of welding. He did some work on a seat leg that needed welded. He plans on us getting out to the next meeting to show off a bit. he has put a lot of time and his own money into the work. I hope he likes to drive it!!!!!!!!!!! |

Jonah, Welcome to the site, I am doing the same thing with my son Andrew that you and your dad are doing. My son will turn 15 in April so we have time and I have a 16 yr old who has a 66 mustang that we have been restomodding for the last 3 years. So there are often plenty of young men to hang with at the meetings etc. Congrats on both finding us, and on having such a sweet ride. |

Welcome welcome! While I didn't get to have the experience of working on a Bronco with my dad, he was the one that first got me interested in them:) Can't wait to check out your handy work! |

Maybe we can get our kids together and they can knock out some major "to do"s" on them. Funny how both our kids are 16 and both have orange ones :) |

99f250 - That is funny they are both orange. We will have to see the 2 together sometime. Looks like they have about the same stance. I have had a lot of people tell me it is not a good 1st car, so i am hoping his time and money that went into it make him think twice when driving. I had one and did fine with it...... Jonah is planning to get some pics of what we have done posted soon. i will try to get some pics of what we did for the EFI swap out soon too. |

I agree. If they put hard labor and their own money into it they'll definitely be less likely to try a dukes of hazzard jump in it or something. |

Welcome... I had a 66 mustang at your age and a buddy had the bronco. We worked on these things and still do. Couldn't think of a better thing to do with your dad. Sure taught me some patience and some of the greatest days...have a blast breaking bolts...there is always a solution. Well done and can't wait to hit the trails with you guys! Matt |
