Before I go taking this to anyone, make sure your sister has the mineral rights on the property. If there is any reason for a former owner to have a remote chance at coming back on mineral rights, bet the farm that they will. My dad owns property near Victor and only has 50% of the mineral rights, and his is in gold territory. From the pictures, it almost looks like pyrite, but that could be because of the pictures. With that in mind, it looks like a Telluride strain, pretty commonly found here in Colorado. It looks very similar to this:

the metallic crystals look pretty small but if you can make out any striations on them like this:

then it is pyrite.

Cool rock either way
