I decided to scale back my build so I could actually drive the EB this year. So just zf, np, power steering and patched tailgate. Tossed most of the parts back on late last night and drove it to work in rush hour traffic...proly not the smartest way to do things, but I made it to work without wadding it up or breaking down so that is encouraging. |

So, overall impressions after the ZF and NP with one day on the road? |
So, overall impressions after the ZF and NP with one day on the road?
well, love the hydraulic clutch. And granny low. It is smooth, easy to shift for a big boy tranny, lopes along at 70mph and so far improved my mpg by 5 but that is a small sample. Thinking on it a bit more, I should have just tossed the Mazda 5speed in there or jeep 5 speed as I rarely can find time to wheel these days. For the parts and miss it cost me 500 dollars which is why I went this route. If I had ponied up the dough and kept the d20 I would have had a much easier time for sure |
