I'm not one to beat the drum for charities (mostly because they seem to be bottomless pits with no clearly defined goals in mind) so this is going to be a stretch for me. Rather than inaccurately recount the details of this particular fundraiser, I'll put up a link to the fundraising site. http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundra ... van-/62182 What makes this particular fundraiser important to me is that I know this little girl's father; we work together. I'd like to see what we, CCB, can do to lend these folks a hand so I've decided to post this up. If you can chip in a few bucks, it would be greatly appreciated. Just wanted to provide an update on this. Friday I met Glen and Stephanie and handed them $500 in CCB member donations and matching funds. Many thanks to all of you. |
