 Credit Reporting agencies suck ass!A few years ago I had some identity theft issues so now I watch my credit reports pretty close. I get emails if anything positive or negative shows up on my credit report. Last night I got an email so I checked it out. First was a new credit line, that one was legit. Next was a collection agency saying that I had a $52 outstanding debt for Banner Health. It said that it was from Dec 4, 2013 and that the original amount was $125. I checked my records and found nothing that matched the amounts not to mention that I had never received any type of letter about this supposed debt. This morning I contacted Banner Health. They were stumped, no record of the debt. The next call went out to the collection agency. Again, no record of the debt. What a pain in the ass this is, How the hell does this get on my credit report when neither the debtor nor the collection agency have any record of it? I'm betting that it will be a good three months before they get it removed. Ok, I vented.

Re: Credit Reporting agencies suck ass! I think its going to be OK. Looks like I should be able to get letters submitted to the Credit Agency from the collection agency and Banner health explaining that this is not my debt. We will have to see how long the process takes.

Re: Credit Reporting agencies suck ass! They are required now to respond or remove wwithin 30 days. My 1st real job was for a collection agency and they are brutal. Keep on it write a letter a month. If not file a judgment with the court's they will have it off in a week
