Actually just the door handles do. Just once I would like to make it thru a winter without my door open button on the driver side breaking |

Have you tried lubrcating the linkages and pivot points? It mat releave the stress caused by friction. |

I have tried lithium, bearing, motorcycle chain grease. It only happens during cold after snow. I am assuming the latch gets wet and then freezes...combine that with the plastic clip on the armature = no love |

My favorite is the plastic rollers on the window crank mechanism. I have yet to go 4 wheeling without one coming off. The best time was the day I drove home after dark in January with the driver's window rolled down. |

I'm constantly dealing with this. The snow melts off the roof and runs down into the latch assembly and freezes it up solid. I know the feeling, when its stuck, and jump in through the passenger side (hopefully) or rear hatch if needed. No sure how to stop it, maybe a make shift weather strip dam/diversion to keep the water off the door shell. Its usually thawed enough by afternoon to open regularly. I just make sure to park with the driver side towards the sun. I've also learned not to try to force it from the inside. I've popped the inside handle past the mechanism, more times than I'd like to admit. Weird, Justin, I've never had that happen. I'd check into getting new rollers/retainers. |

I don't think it'll solve the problem, but new door & window felt would certainly help. Maybe add a Teflon based penetrant to the internal mechanism. I just broke the inner handle rod retainer on my driver's side last storm. The earlier style metal/nylon rod retainers are stronger than the all plastic style used in later model doors. |

Find a spray called fluid film. It's available at oreily's. Pop the door panel off and give everything a nice coat of it. Including the door latch. It works better than anything else I have tried. |

I'vs rebuilt and adjusted both door mechanisms in the last 6 months. I can open and close both sides with one finger now. I used white lithium grease and the metal/nylon rod clips during rebuild. No issues so far with freezing, slippage or failure to open. |

I have used WD-40 on my locks. I spray the latch and down the locking knob hole. This has been working for me on both broncos since 1979. |
