Any diesel dudes running a aftermarket bypass filter? I'm thinking of adding one, the Amsoil setup looks easy to install and the price is right. I already have a spare pressure port to use and the 4bt pan has a second plug to use for return. I think the filter is a 1 or 2 micron spec, anything else I should consider? |

I'm running a secondary bypass oil setup on the Super Duty. And I love it. Haven't done a Blackstone report yet since I installed it. But the dudes over on FordTrucks say that they've pushed out to 10k between oil changes with no discernible difference in report readings over their previous 3-5k samples. |

I'm doing mine at 5k now. 10k sounds appealing but I just don't know if I trust second hand data just yet. |

I ran http://ecomicrofilters.com/ setup on my PSD. The only issue I had was getting replacement filters due to some sort of manufacturing issue, but I did find another source for those. |
