There is a guy in Gunnison selling some 37" BFG Baja's very cheap. But I'm guessing they aren't a soft sidewall/crawler oriented tire. I'm thinking they would be a stiffer/higher durability tire than I'd want on my truck. Just wondering if anyone can confirm or give opinions on these. |

My recollection is that there have been a couple of models of the Baja over the years. Most were make for zooming through the desert in a race-ish application. Not sure I'd bother unless you can verify that they're good for your application. If they're the race tire, they also wear very poorly and get greasy in the rain. |

Thanks. Anyways these are Baja T/A K/R. I don't see a 37" Baja listed on BFGs site (and they aren't T/A K/R). I saw the retail Baja prices are $600-$700+ each. He's listed a 98 Dodge 2500 w/6 rims & 6 tires for $2800, and willing to sell the tires & rims separately. So I had to ask. Wish they were the Krawlers. edit: Now I found the T/A K/R page w/37's listed. Don't know why I didn't find that page yesterday. |

That seems like the HMMWV tire, they have a BFG Baja version and are 37" If so: 1) they can be bought very cheap 2) they are not the same compound as regular BFG Baja tires, more wear resistance but less "sticky" as a result Military vehicles are not subject to DOT regs. |
