Anyone have a good referral for a aluminum fabricator around town? I'm having interference problems with the fan/shroud thanks to my 1" body lift and need some fabrication done to basically move the opening down 1". |

can you just cut the bottom to clear? Most shrouds only cover half the fan anyways. Just my $.02 |

Option 4- move the radiator mounts down an inch to make up for the 1" BL. |

Probably cleanest to move our mounts on the shroud. I'd lean that way too. Let us know what you end up with. |

I moved the radiator mounts on mine which lowered both the radiator and fan shroud so there wasn't any fab needed to the actual shroud. Let me know if you need some help and would like to use my welder. I can probably squeeze some time in Friday or Saturday. |

I added two aluminum strips top and bottom on mine to lower the fan shroud on my 76. Machine bolts holding it together. No way I was going to cut the original mounts. However I'm using the original shroud with the hybrid aluminum extension and not an all new shroud. If I had an all aluminum shroud I would have the extensions tig welded. |
