I am hoping to take my uncle, aunt and wife up to Kingston pass this weekend and was curious if there was any snow up there yet? I know I was there quite a few years ago and there was a pretty large snow slide/crossing across the road that was passable but not fun so I would like to avoid any oh crap moments. I've heard there has already been snow flying in the mountains and the temps are getting pretty low up there so I hoping there will be no issues. |

I seriously doubt there is any snow holding in the high country. I saw a pic on Facebook of a dusting of snow around CB, but I can't believe it stuck around. A friend talked to someone staying at the Rocky Mtn Biological Lab in Gothic (significantly higher elevation than CB) and he said it was "super cold" that morning 37*, lol (he was from Louisiana). The snow isn't going to stick around long with lows near 40*. |

Went up to Forrest Lakes by Rollins Pass today. It was cold, windy and cloudy but no snow. Should probably be ok this weekend. |
