I need to buy a new spray gun for painting. Not looking for anything facny, just need something that will do a decent job of laying down paint at a reasonable price. Any suggestions? |

What, you too good for HF? ;-) Curious about this too. I know I need a good filter on my compressor but that's all I know. |

Just get something cheap. I have a $30 gun I shoot non-critical stuff with. Tip size should be somewhere around 1.3-1.5. That should shoot primer, single stage, base & clearcoat all ok. Make sure its HVLP. This one gets good reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Stai ... =paint+gun You can add a water separator to the air line, then run a disposable inline filter on the gun, like this: http://www.amazon.com/Disposable-Water- ... gun+filter |

If you want to spend a little more, this looks a lot like something we bought at my old shop: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001N1E9Y8?psc=1 It would add some versatility to your set up. |
