Hi guys, My name is David Brewer. I was referred over here from a member of classicbroncos.com. I'm in Dallas, Tx and I'm contemplating flying to Denver to check out a '66. I'm trying to purchase my first Bronco and wouldn't be a great judge on whether or not this is a good buy. The guys at classicbroncos recommend I post here, cause they were certain that someone on this forum would have looked at that bronco and could offer up their opinion. It has sat for an awfully long time. If anyone has taken a look at it, could you please offer your two cents? Here is the link http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5371149267.html Thanks much, Dallas Dave |

Hi there Dr. Dave, First and foremost, I will offer this by stating that I have Not seen this one in person, sorry. But, I'm sure a lot of people will see this and ask the same questions of you, what are your intentions with your bronco? Are you just trying to get a Bronco to tinker with? Are you in search of a mostly rust free body that you can throw money at and restore? Does it have to be a '66? I would never plan on buying, and then driving this particular Bronco from Co to Tx! No PS, no Power disc brakes, 6 cylinder 3 speed manual and inoperable since '89. He does say that it runs and drives's but, I would take that as 10 miles or less! I'm pretty sure that if you tell us what you're looking for we could find something as good or better value wise in your neck of the woods or at least closer! Don't get me wrong, I really do like that little 66 and its originality, but I would not travel that far for one! If you are familiar with CB.com, you might recognize this..."if you can't afford a good one, you really can't afford a bad one!" Mike (not a doctor:) |
