I've just about had it with the ridiculous shipping costs associated with many of the Bronco parts houses. Last night I started to place an order for two new J bolts to reinstall my auxiliary tank. When the cost of shipping nearly exceeded the cost of the actual hardware, I said enough is enough. I'm looking for a brick and mortar source for J bolt replacements. Has anyone had any luck with doing a local purchase on these? Home Depot, not surprisingly, had nothing that was a direct fit option. Several options I could modify to work, but the risks of damage to the hardware were not worth it to me. |

I feel your pain on shipping. I said enough is enough when the local bronco parts supplier charged me shipping on a fuel tank that I went and picked up from them. You may try O'Reillys or Advanced before going to extremes. |

I ended up making my own using a torch to get the bend right. |

I also made my own J-Bolt vs. the cost of buying one. |
