How about a GT40 thread?
Seems to be a lot of people swapping GT40s on. And there is a little bit of question as to chamber size and all of that. Maybe start collecting some info about casting dates and chamber sizes? Can you tell I'm bored? Mine are as follows: 16D6: 16 April, 1996 casting Chamber size unknown Head bolt size: 1/2" 29E6: 29 May, 1996 Chamber size: unknown Head bolt size: 7/16" Yup. Mine are mismatched. Just figured that out. I'll have to cc the chambers and see if they are also different.

Re: How about a GT40 thread?
I just got one of the 96 Explorer GT40 heads cleaned here is what I have so far 19Feb1996, no other numbers that I could find like 6090. Notice the stamp in picture #3 stating Mexico? WTH is that. I'm not sure how to check chamber size I will just ask Western Motors when I get them re-worked. 19Feb1996
I found another set of number's on the second head as I was cleaning them this morning, the look to be different? Looks like GT6C1 >8B2
Any how came across this cc chart.
