My original plan was to purchase a blank dash from BC Broncos with the glove box moved over 5" so I could keep the stock glove box door with the VIN tag. Unfortunately they are having issues with their vendor and don't know when they will get more blanks. That being said I am considering running the Tuffy glove box that is split for a roll cage. For those just running the Tuffy glove box did you do anything about the VIN tag. I guess I am somewhat concerned because the tag on my door pillar is gone and without the glove box tag that leaves only the VIN on the frame. |

All I have is the VIN on the frame. That's the one that really counts. |

They NEVER have that dash in stock. I bought the one without anything precut. I cut the door out of my old dash and welded it into the new BC dash to move it over but keep the stock look. Just an option if you want to keep the stock dash look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have an extra stock dash so it may be time to learn to weld and just reconfigure what I have, I just figured it would be easier to use the blank. |

I have a couple dashes that were modified with the glove boxes moved over. They were given to me, you can have one if you'd like. I'll dig them out and take pics if you are interested. |

I'm running the Tuffy box and didn't bother with a VIN tag swap. Gunni, I'd be interested in one of those dashes if the layout is the same as my '71 and it's in easily refinishable shape. I like the look of the stock glove box much better. |

Sorry, been super busy the last couple nights. I'll get out to the garage tomorrow and dig out my dashboards. Between shoveling snow and working on real estate possibilities, I haven't have much time to do anything else lately. |

Ok I laid eyes on the dashboards. They are stashed inside the 66, along with a bunch of other parts. It's dark & cramped inside the storage tent. I'll get to them tomorow & take pics. Sorry this has taken so long. |
