Is there an app/software that anyone knows about for engine management for an iPad? Doesn't have to be iPad - they just are off the shelf type hardware and an option. Similar to a glass cockpit for GA is what I'm looking for..... Since I'm about to rewire the entire rig - just thought about it. Erik |

I don't know of any apps specifically except for Torque, but that can be a little laggy. I don't consider it real-time. I've looked at these units and similar from Amazon, Flea-bay, etc. They require OBDII to interface. There is also the Trail Tech units. While designed for MCs, they could be easily adapted to a truck Are you looking for an easy way to get gauges or are you really gunning for a glass-cockpit arrangement? |

Thinking about a glass cockpit. I like the trending information you can get from them. But since this is a old school Bronco - carb, NP435..I think I'll go with analog style gauges and do a glass cockpit in another Bronco thats got modern stuff..auto trans, EFI, etc... I may do a engine management system like this as an example: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/pages/av ... 830jpi.php |

Easiest and cheapest is probably Torque. But it requires OBD2 and can be slow to update, like approx 1 second refresh rate depending on how many items you log. Which is good enough for everything but Tach. |
