Eyebrows for Stubby

The seller wanted to wait till morning so we got up at the butt crack of dawn and made the 97 mile trip down. Strangely, I don’t think he had any other calls on it. I bet if it had “eyebrow grill” in the title his phone would have been ringing non stop. I’m just glad to have the last major piece of the 66 puzzle. Top 2 hubcaps in 1st 2 pics are OEM Ford. The rest of these are all Merck hubcaps, the front has been painted with black stripes and cut for the front hub. The way you tell is the clips on the back. Ford only has three and then a space three and then a space mercury ones have clips all the way around... Someone on eBay trying to fake the fronts for $100 each, or $150 for 2... Better than a Grand I guess! I didn’t want to loose the patina of the grill either so I broke out a few cans of spray paint, some sand paper and some brake cleaner.
