Bump stops
I'm setting up my front bump stops. I had been using the typical bump stops sold for a lifted EB: https://tomsoffroad.com/parts/66-77-for ... bump-stopsOne is pretty chewed up from landing on an uneven place on my front axle after swapping in my full width D44. I have a set of F250 rear bumps I pulled off a truck at work when installing air bags. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184177700335?h ... Sw4OFeTY6VI know they won't be as soft, and don't seem like they will give much at all. But they will do the job. I also pretty much know where they will stop everything from moving so they will be easy to locate. Does anyone think this is this going to cause problems? Stopping everything with less give than the old stops? I don't expect to be doing high speed/jumps/etc. I hope they will mostly be used at low speed/crawling, although we all know there will be surprises. I suppose I can mount them and if I jar my eyeballs out I can always swap them.

I think Crawlercreations cut his cross member and plated it as well. He hasn’t had any issues.

also, i know this isn't super helpful because we have different setups, however i went with those bumps in the rear of the racer you linked from summit - which are essentially the same ones sold by the bronco vendors and I haven't had any issues. They are definitely hitting the axle tubes but not excessively, i totally guessed what i needed as far as bumps out back as I technically have a 2.5" lift but I think my springs being a custom pack set for 500lb over stock probably absorb most of the bump out back...
You will defiantly know when you hit the rear excessively and if you are using more than they can handle as they will eventually start to come apart like they are on my red one (same bumps). They have lasted 4-5 years tho...

Fit everything up. Set the bump stops with about 1" before max stuff. I'll probably have to add a spacer but it worked well and jacking up on the axle the bump stop wouldn't compress to where the radius arms or steering linkage hit anything.
