No fuel to the carb
Changed out my fuel filters today, one of them is a clear plastic one. It's been a while since I started the Bronco, and today when I tried, I saw no fuel in the filter. I checked to make sure I installed it correctly. I replaced the fuel pump last year. My question is, has anyone ever had an issue with the tank selector blocking the flow of fuel? The engine is a '73 351W, with a stock two barrel motorcraft carb.

Re: No fuel to the carb
I have this problem when I don't run mine for a while. Either the fuel evaporates or drains back down into the tank, not sure which. The remedy (in my case) is a squirt of starting fluid in the carb.

Re: No fuel to the carb
Right before my truck got tucked into the garage I was having the same problem. I could not get the fuel to get beyond the tank selector switch. I was going to work on it soon anyway so i bypassed the selector switch and just ran the rear tank for a few weeks.

Re: No fuel to the carb
I chased a pin hole in my fuel line. A pressure gauge helped find where I was losing the pressure.
