Hi guy's
After my wifes prank of listing my bronco on craigslist to get me off my A$$ it worked!


302 with C4
violently shifts into reverse.. it can chirp the tires when I select reverse *THUWMP!* when it goes in..

Loud Clunk noise! if it needs rebuilt WHO and WHERE should I send it?

Tranny fluid is full, But leaking banghead

If you need a rebuild or have questions, you are in luck. The best C4 guy in the country is ViperWolf and he is here in Colorado. My ViperBuilt C4 shifts like a Lexus.

Check for excessive idle speed and slop in rear driveline. A linkage adjustment may help too. Disconnect linkage at trans, put trans lever in neutral, put shifter in neutral, re-attach linkage. Might need to re-adjust NSS afterwards.

Too full can cause leaks. Oil level should only reach full mark when trans is really hot, idling in park.

I agree with Viper. Check idle speed, mine does it as well. I have the idle set at about 950 so it will idle at about 650 in gear. Talk about jumping when put in gear and it does build up a lot of heat when idling sitting at a light. A little higher stall rpm would help.
