Bilstein Rear Shocks for a 3" Lift
Anyone out there running a three inch lift in the rear and Bilstein shocks? I'm trying to determine what shock to purchase -- anyone have a Bilstein part number that has worked for them with this setup?

Re: Bilstein Rear Shocks for a 3" Lift
I haven't upgraded yet, but here are a couple threads with Bilstein info, that I've bookmarked. Its been a while since I've read through them hope you can get the info you need. Let us know what you find out. I'm ready to upgrade my rear suspension. Clint is working on his own rebuildable shocks, and could also give you advice. I have a bunch more bookmarked, but these seem to be similar to your set up. In no particular order. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showth ... ein&page=2http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showth ... t=bilsteinhttp://classicbroncos.com/forums/showth ... light=5165http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showth ... p?t=178927

Re: Bilstein Rear Shocks for a 3" Lift
This is awesome! So thanks, I will review. Just FYI -- the total length / distance between the upper and lower shock mounting points when the rear axle is at total droop is 23.5 inches.

Re: Bilstein Rear Shocks for a 3" Lift
Ok. So working with Bilstein, I was able to determine that with the 3" lift blocks and 23.5" of spring droop -- the length between the shock upper and lower mounting brackets -- the best shock was going to be the Bilstein 5125 Performance Shock, SKU: BE5-6248-H5 -- which is the same as Bilstein Part Number 33-185552.
Specs on the shock:
10.17" of Travel 25.93" Extendxed Length 15.91" Collapsed Length
Thanks for the pointers!
