cant get the f-ing axles back in!
Got a new set of 31 spline yukon axles and I had Clint put me a 31 spline yukon locker in the 3rd member. (9 inch). I test fitted the axles in the carrier to make sure they fit before I reinstalled the pumpkin.
Short axle on the drivers side, long on the passenger side. They both slide in fine and I can feel the splines hitting the carrier but I just cant get them in the last couple of inches. Its like something is blocking it.
I put the long axle in on the drivers side just for the hell of it and it goes right in. I can turn it and move the yoke but obviously its too long and sticks out.
Any suggestions or is the 9 inch just a pain in the ass?

Did you measure the length of your new axles against the length of your old ones?

If you are converting to tapered roller axle bearings you need to pull the old seals out of the axle housing before trying to put in your new axles. My bet is that the old seals in the housing are causing your issues.
