 Emergency Brake Bracket Does anyone sell a replacement emergency brake bracket that's welded to the frame? Mine is totally mangled, looks like it went through a blender.
I'm rebuilding the rear brakes and this is a partial reason my emergency brakes don't work.

Re: Emergency Brake Bracket i was going to say, might be easier to fab a new one. The one on my 69 failed so i had to weld and fab supports for it.

Re: Emergency Brake Bracket The mangled part is the bracket that is welded to the frame, I just doubt that part is made as they don't break or wear out.
I'm just going to cut the old one off, cut a new one out and re-weld it. I just have to flatten out the old one for a pattern.
Personally I can't figure out how the previous owner mangled the bracket into a knot, but he did. He must of got hooked up into a stump or something.
