Radiator options
5.0 explorer swap. I know some have used the original bronco radiator but, what are some of your experiences with other radiators? including an explorer rad?

So, that has 1 1/2 " pipes on it. what did you find for hoses? And, what kind of temps were you seeing on a hot day?

Re: Radiator options
I have the part number tags on my tool box and will post them up shortly
I believe this radiator is the cat's meow. I don't have a shroud on mine and it has gotten up to 199 but tomorrow will be first warm day so I will give it another test.

Re: Radiator options
The mounting tabs I used were found on the ground at the pull n pay place so I don't have part number / application information.
Most late model ford cars and trucks use various styles of this mount. It has a hole and a rubber grommet in it and a tab on the bottom of the radiator drops down through the hole.

Re: Radiator options

Re: Radiator options
Thanks fellas, I got it all dialed in now (I think) Phil, one other item I am looking for is the mounting bracket for the PS reservoir like yours. I have the reservoir but, not the bracket. I can make one but, I'm all about easy!

Re: Radiator options
It's the stock bracket for that reservoir. L-shaped with slots for the rubber grommets. 20151105_160021.jpg 20151105_155951.jpg

Re: Radiator options
I think mine was off a mid 90s diesel excursion. Cost me about $45 with the bracket off fleabay, but took a little searching to find one.
