Machine shop North of Denver
I just got my Bilstein 7100s WOOT!. The only problem I have at the moment is the my rear upper mounts are stud style 5/8 shank bolts. See picture. and the Bilstein have 1/2' heim joints. I have been having a bear of a time finding this stud with the smooth part being 1/2" to match the hiems on the Bilsteins. Does anyone know of a machine shop kind of up north, I am in Erie, That would take on a small job and turn the 5/8 section down to 1/2 for me for not a stupid amount of cash.
I would also accept other options and creativity.

You can swap out the hiems in the bilstiens with bushings that should work. I think they are 5/8 eyelets. Did so on mine. Let me see if I can find the part number to be sure

Perfect Chris. Did you use it without the sleeve then? It looks lie that sleeve is 1/2 Thanks. Once I get all the pieces I will get out and test. I hope my valving is good.

Having some extra vibration isolation is a good thing. Here is a link to Prothane's catalog. Skip down to page 13 to see the shock bushings and pick your poison. https://prothane.com/wp-content/uploads ... -11-19.pdf
