Post 4wd slugs sticking in hub
So I did my chevy disc brake conversion and my factory lock outs aren't working on one side. The splined/toothed slug doesn't go in far enough to disengage on one side. Thoughts? Think it just needs cleaned and scrubbed and re-greased? Or is my new(used) hub deformed? Thanks guys.

I know on mine they had to grind the outside of the hub just enough to get the snap ring on the axle shaft. That might get you a little more clearance.

Clean it up real good, get some good white lithium grease (not the spray) and put it back together with that. Remember, less is more. Often times, they are over-greased and the vacuum of the grease is like you slogging thru a march in flip-flops. It's hard to pull your foot out of the muck! Anyway, just a light coat of grease on all surfaces and you should be good.
