Copper washers
I'm reinstalling the third member into my 9" and am having trouble tracking down the original copper washers. My understanding is that they were meant mostly to seal the nuts and that they aren't really needed if you're using RTV or something similar. Any reason anyone knows of that I can't just use regular locking washers from the hardware store?

Re: Copper washers
Rtv doesn't work. Tried that. I get my washers at Aai speed equipment. They are south of 64th on I think lamar.

Re: Copper washers
I had good luck with hardware store copper washers. The original nuts are the locking type so no lock washers are required.
