Now that my e-brake cables are actually connected to the brakes, I'm trying to get them working. The cables appear to be sticking badly. Is there anything I can do to free them up, or is it just a matter of replacing them? I would not need longer ones with just a 3.5"SL/2"BL, right? If I do, can anyone confirm that big Bronco cables work (search on CB suggested they would, but I don't want to tear my truck apart only to not have it work)?

Mine were doing the same but were completely seized up. I ran brand new long cables since it wasn't much of a difference in price and i'm running 3.5" lift. I think the longer cables work out better for being able to route them properly and keeping them away from exhaust etc.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it! I'll probably hold off-I'm a little short on cash since I finally managed to pick up a spare tire this weekend. I've been doing a little more searching and I'll probably go with '78 Bronco cables in the next few weeks. Looks like they fit just fine and are about 10-12" longer.

I just replaced mine as the passenger side was wasted, I have a brand new center cable that I did'nt use, if anybody wants it for cost no shipping. The driver side is still usable, that one is free :)
