pheonixmusclecar engine
Has anyone ever had any dealings with these folks out of pheonix? I would like to replace my engine without all the hassle of looking for all the parts. I am more mechanically declined than inclined and something that is already put together ready to drop in sound almost to good to be true. Your knowledge is greatly apperciated. JP

I've never dealt with them specifically; however, for not much more than the price of a "turn key" carb'd 302 from them, you could probably get a shop like mine to source a low mileage Explorer 5.0 and install it with the injection stuff.
My 408 stroker long block with AFR aluminum heads, custom roller cam, roller rockers, etc... cost close to what they want for an engine. Joe

If I were in need of an engine rebuild I personally would deal with a local shop that could handle any warranty issues that may arise. This is just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
