Bronco died on Highway 36... Help
So I was driving to work this evening when my truck lost power. Stepped on gas with no results and made my way to the side where the engine died. The auxiliary fan ceased to function and the electric fuel pump also quit, however the head lights and interior lights, gauges etc. still worked. turned key and started would turn over but no ignition occurred. Any idea on where to start? I was thinking coil maybe? Never had a vehicle power down while going 70 mph before. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't sweat it. Gotta figure with ~40 year old trucks, got start from the first potential point of failure. And unfortunately for us, that is often the ignition switch.

Re: Bronco died on Highway 36... Help
Still better than the 2008 Hummer I traded in for it. I'll never have anything else again. Thanks again and hope to attend an event next time we have one.
