Issue with James Duff 3-spd floor shifter installation
I'm trying to get my shifter on the floor but running into this problem. As you can see, I have an obstruction preventing me from getting R engaged.
Before I start bending things around, any suggestions or does it just look like i have no idea what I'm doing?
Thanks!

Dang. Wish I had driven the Bronco to work today. Woulda been able to compare installs. I would have asked if you got your shift linkages backwards, but judging by the bend in that one, I don't think it would work on the other side either.
Looks as if you have some room to adjust on the shifter side. Any way you can take some of that out and get the clearance you need?

Here are a few pics of my Duff 3 spd shifter. I took these while in Reverse. I did not install this but just happen to have tunnel access to it. Not sure if this will help or not.

The linkage on the closest (driver) side is what is controlling the Reverse and the other side controls the 1-3rd.

Ah ha! Laffy, you've got that shift rod flipped and on the wrong side.
