Post Motorcraft/Autolite Carb Jetting
While looking for another problem I checked header temp on all 8 cylinders and a buddy pointed out that the four with lower temps were all coming from one barrel of the carb so I guess it is rebuild time. While I'm in there I figure it is a good time to make sure I have the correct jets. Is there a good size for a basically stock 302 with a 2100 carb? Pueblo is where I live so figure about 4700' elevation and I'll certainly make some runs much higher on occasion.

I haven't tore into it yet but pulled the carb today and the PO had the idle screws set very differently on the two sides. That alone could explain the exhaust temp differences since it was idling in the garage. I haven't played with the carb since I bought it and got it back running last year and it appears to have needed it. The automatic choke wasn't working either since the heat tube didn't connect anywhere... Ordered the rebuild kit and an electric choke this evening.

I have never rebuilt a carb before so this could prove either fun or really frustrating. Of course the Bronco has given me numerous firsts and most have been rewarding in the end.
