Post Sending unit pick up tube diameter
I'm about to order some parts to rebuild a few of the sending units I have at home. However, there are two different pick up tube diameters listed on NPD's site.

So, anyone have a sending unit or two lying around they can take measurements off of? It's either going to be 3/8 or 5/16.

1972 Sport, 302, 3 speed with old school Duff floor shifter, T shift Dana 20 with JB Fab twin stick, 4.11 gears with Trac-loc, Lincoln hydroboost, Chevy disc conversion, WH gas lift gate shock kit, 33" Duratrac tires on slots and about 2.5" of lift, Stroppe installed: bumper braces, dual shocks on all four corners, GM power steering, trans cooler mount, auto shift column, rollbar.

My old sending unit from my 74 is 3/8".

Gracias. I brought them to work today to clean them up. During lunch, yeah. I would never work on Bronco stuff during work hours.

Anyhow, I have three sending units (that I could find this morning). The C6TF main tank unit is 5/16" OD for the pick up tube. The D0BF-A and D0BF-B, aux senders, are both 3/8".

Which makes me wonder, when was the switch?
