 Push rod promlem So I got my new to me 69 running only to find out why it probably got parked 18 yrs ago.Couldn't find one in my inventory so I guess I'll order one,unless someone has one laying around?

Re: Push rod promlem You may want to run some Sea Foam or ATF through the engine oil once you get it back up and running. It may help un-stick the lifters.

Re: Push rod promlem Two bent push rods later,cleaned out fuel system,rebuilt carb and it runs like a champ.Not bad for sitting for 18 years.Supposedly only 56k on the truck.
