Reputable Colorado Springs Shop
Hello All, Can any of you recommend a good shop in Colorado Springs that can dial in a carburetor? I put a brand new 600cfm Quick Fuel carb on in September. Had a a Motor-Head friend change the the jets for the altitude, ped it on the truck, and away I went. It runs pretty good, but I feel it could run a lot better. And it is certainly finicky when starting and when cold, certainly needs some choke work. Choke is electric. I just don't want to do this work as I am pretty clueless with carburetor work, and don't want to make it worse. I think it is close to running really well, just need that final tune. So what shop comes highly recommended? Thank you

Re: Reputable Colorado Springs Shop
The few times I've had anyone tune a carb, I took it to Don Allison off Hugo, on a Sat morning. I usually only drive a carb'd vehicle just long enough to collect the parts to convert everything to EFI.
Electrons I understand, that "Venturi Principle", magic..... Joe

Years ago I was told that carburetor is a French word for "Don't f**k with it".
